Over the years the forum has become a respected professional platform: the ENERGOPROM 2026 organising committee holds a meeting

Under the chairmanship of Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Sergei Tsivilev a meeting was held of the organising committee for the preparation and holding of the Kazan International Electric Power Forum ENERGOPROM 2026. The meeting took place by videoconference.

The meeting of the organising committee was attended by Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Oleg Korobchenko, as well as representatives of federal and regional authorities, energy companies and industry organisations.

Opening the meeting, Sergei Tsivilev recalled that ENERGOPROM 2026 will take place on 1-3 April 2026 at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre and will be devoted to the development of the electric power industry, technological sovereignty, modernisation of the sector and the adoption of domestic solutions. The head of the Russian Ministry of Energy noted that ENERGOPROM is a key specialised supporting venue for the Russian Energy Week international forum, which is held in Moscow every autumn. "The main event of ENERGOPROM will be Supplier Day — an exhibition of the products and technologies of all manufacturers working in the electric power industry. Electric power is a cross-cutting industry that underpins the operation of every sector of the economy, so the forum will be of importance to a large number of Russian companies", stressed Sergei Tsivilev. Particular attention at the forum, including at the events held as part of Youth Day, will be given to developing and strengthening the traditions of the Russian engineering school. "We must give the younger generation the opportunity to learn from the experience and knowledge of the best specialists", noted the head of the energy ministry. He also pointed to the demand for events at the forum aimed at preserving historical memory and strengthening ties between generations. Accordingly, ENERGOPROM will continue the Twice Victors project launched by the Russian Ministry of Energy in 2025.

Rustam Minnikhanov, welcoming the participants of the meeting, stressed that over the years ENERGOPROM has become a respected professional platform that brings together the energy community, industry, science and government authorities. "The forum has confirmed that it is in demand and enjoys steady interest from the professional community and from Russian and international companies", noted the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan. He thanked Sergei Tsivilev and the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation for their support in organising the forum, thanks to which the event has reached a new level and acquired federal status. "The development of the energy sector, including power machine building, is among the priority areas for our country. In the current environment it is important to shape sustainable solutions that ensure the reliability of the power system, the modernisation of infrastructure, the adoption of domestic technologies and the training of personnel", stressed Rustam Minnikhanov. Among the key objectives of ENERGOPROM 2026 he named: — wider international participation, above all from the CIS countries and Asia; — a stronger innovation agenda focused on digitalisation and import independence; — the development of the youth programme; — greater effectiveness of the forum through an increase in the number of agreements signed. The Rais (Head) of Tatarstan also noted that the republic has the experience and infrastructure required to host events at the federal level. All security measures will be taken and extensive media coverage of the forum will be arranged.

The keynote report on the progress of preparations for the event was delivered by Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Oleg Korobchenko. He reported on the development of the business programme, the preparation of the specialised energy exhibition and the expansion of the international agenda.
