Tatarstan's most energy-saving and energy-efficient districts and enterprises announced

The winners of the competition for the best achievements in energy conservation and energy efficiency improvement in 2025 were honoured at the Kazan International Electric Power Forum ENERGOPROM. The awards were presented by Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin.

For active participation in the implementation of the municipal energy conservation programme and for achieving high energy efficiency indicators at municipal institutions, awards in the Municipalities category went to: Nizhnekamsky District; Spassky District; Alkeyevsky District.

For active participation in the implementation of the sectoral energy conservation programme and for achieving high energy efficiency indicators at state institutions, the winner in the category Social Sector the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan.

For reducing specific fuel consumption in the generation of heat and electricity, the award in the Electric Power category went to the branch of TGC-16 — Kazan CHPP-3, and in the Housing and Utilities category – PKF Vostok-Energo

For reducing the energy intensity of production and achieving high energy efficiency indicators, awards were presented in the following categories: Chemicals and Petrochemicals — Tatkhimfarmpreparaty

Defence Industry Complex — Kazan Optical and Mechanical Plant

Mechanical Engineering — Kazankompressormash

Fuel Industry — TANECO

Light, Food and Woodworking Industry — Tatspirtprom

For active participation in implementing state policy on energy conservation and energy efficiency in Tatarstan, the award in the Energy Efficiency as a Development Strategy category went to Kazan State Power Engineering University and Tatneft named after V.D. Shashin.
